Today marks the 4th Anniversary of Diary of a Church of England Vicar’s Wife (Bean A’ Mhinisteir)! I am amazed that I have lasted this long. In fact, I think I am getting better at it even if I say so myself!
When I started blogging in 2017, I only posted once a week. The blog was marked “Private” which meant NOBODY read it.
About 2 years ago, I decided to bite the bullet and go public while maintaining my anonymity. I use a pen name.
Since last year, I have been trying to blog every weekday. I am pleased to say that I have been mostly successful. It is of course tempting to blog everyday especially when WordPress sends you congratulatory messages for blogging several days in a row. On Sundays I take a complete break from most things including blogging instead you will find me in a pew in one of the umpteen parishes the Mhinisteir is responsible for.
I don’t see my blog as a religious one but being a Vicar’s wife means that I can’t help commenting on religious matters so for that reason I don’t allow comments as I prefer not to get into theological
arguments discussions . Furthermore, I would like to keep this a light hearted blog.
Some followers regularly take the trouble to get in touch via the contact page with lovely comments while others follow quietly. A big thank you to all of you out there for reading my feeble words and for your continued support!
